The Edwardian motor cars taking part on the Great War Centenary Parade are all original private cars that would have been seen on the streets of Britain at the time of the Great War. They are owned and maintained by individual and Museum members of The Veteran Car Club of Great Britain. Whilst the term "Parade" is used, the vehicles will be driven in ordinary traffic on the streets of the Central London route and to and from Surrey. They may therefore all take a little while to pass any given location.
Royal Hospital Chelsea to Lancaster House -
Lancaster House to Imperial War Museum -
The public are welcome to come to London to view the GWCP from any vantage point on the route described above. As a mark of respect to the participants and organisers, we would ask that no persons attempt to follow the GWCP in either old or modern cars.
The maps below show the routes the cars will be taking in Central London.
In addition the cars will be seen in Putney High Street, Parsons Green about 7:30-
